Manolin

I'm packing to move and moving bursting open files of art as a result.  I came across this Manolin illustration, back from the Old Man and the Sea project in the winter. Pen, ink, and brush on bristol.

I've probably been walking by this for the last two years and not seeing it, it's pretty incredible.  If anyone is walking or biking on the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge, keep your eyes peeled.

But before I saw the car garden, I drew Monica playing ukulele and sitting on the couch in Maryland.

Novice is getting colored

I'm using a very limited color palette and this how it's looking as of now! It's really interesting to use color as a storytelling element instead of a 'these are the colors these things are' mindset, I'm liking it.

ZAD cover-v1

Here's the 90% done version of the Zombie Ass Zombie Dinosaurs cover!

It's 17.5 x 8.5" watercolored and touched up in photoshop. I need to puzzle together another scan or two to patch up the bottom left hand corner, but I think it turned out pretty well.
