This is my finished Old Man in the Sea character concept! But I'm going more for old shaman woman and the sea, Inuit style.  If I have time I'll color my Manolin to go with her.

Bimwili illustration

Here's my first illustration for my fairy tale theory class! I'm illustrating Bimwili and the Zimwi, a fairy tale from Zimbabwe that scared the crap out of me as a kid.  It's about a girl who's kidnapped by a monster and held captive in a drum where she's forced to sing.
